Quality of Life Plan
Thanks to the support of the Zilber Family Foundation through the Zilber Neighborhood Initiative, the Layton
Boulevard West neighborhood's spent 2011 working with neighbors and partners to create a vision for the
future of the neighborhood. This vision is captured in the neighborhood Quality of Life Plan. The highlights
document, showing the key strategies and components of the plan, was unveiled at the 2011 Layton
Boulevard West Annual Gathering. The full plan was released at the end of January 2012. This plan
represents the hard work and dedication of over 250 neighbors and partners working together to make our
neighborhoods even greater than they already are.

Click on the link below to take this very unscientific survey on neighborhood names. We want to know
more about how you refer to the place you live. When someone asks where you live do you give a
neighborhood name? Cross streets? Side of town? Let us know so we can better understand how people
see and navigate Milwaukee and the Silver City, Burnham Park, and Layton Park neighborhoods.
