The Layton Boulevard West Neighborhood is a vibrant
community where the people are as
diverse as the architecture- Milwaukee Arts and Crafts
Bungalows, Victorian worker’s cottages, brick
colonials, and a one of a kind collection of six American System-
Built Homes designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Three
neighborhoods are located within the LBWN feature
neighborhood:
Silver City, Burnham Park, and Layton Park.

Our neighborhood's turn-of-the-century homes feature German
craftsmanship, unique architectural detail, and beautiful stained
glass windows that cannot be matched by new construction. Our
central location, just southwest of downtown between Miller Park
and the Mitchell Park Domes, proves to be an immense
attraction when combined with our the affordable housing stock.
With easy access to the freeway just minutes away, get
anywhere in the Milwaukee Metro region within minutes! There
are a wide variety of international dining, shopping, and
entertainment options throughout the Silver City Main Street
District and the Layton Boulevard West Neighborhood.

For those seeking recreational opportunities, the Hank Aaron
State Trail will take you on a scenic and relaxing ride from Miller
Park, through the redeveloped greenspace in the Menomonee
Valley, along the Menomonee River, past Chimmney Park, the
Marquette Athletic Fields, Potawatomi Bingo and Casino, and
the Harley Davidson Museum, through the Walker's Point
Neighborhood and the Third Ward, past the Milwaukee Institute
of Art and Design and the Summerfest Grounds, all ending at
Lake Shore State Park on the Lakefront!

Access to the Menomonee Valley and the Hank Aaron State trail
will get much easier in the near future with the opening of the
Valley Passage.

Menomonee Valley Passage and what it will mean for our
